    Curtains are beautiful and material is really good. Curtains are able to block light and also able to considerably reduce and absorb the noise coming from outside. I bought curtains solely for the purpose to reduce noise coming from an adjacent room and it did fine in reducing sharp noises of babies but curtains alone will not sound proof the room, however it will help in reducing sharp noises of babies crying. Before ordering curtains measure the area for which you need to buy them as these are available in 7 ft, 9ft etc sizes.

    This is truly a darkening curtain. I needed durable curtains for my hobby room which tends to get hot in summer (45 Celsius in the shade). I ordered two pairs of window and one door curtains. After installing the curtains the room was suitably darkened and the AC load came down. It is very easy to install. I have old fashioned pelmets and curtain rods, even then the installation was quick. If you have modern decorative curtain rods then installation will be a cinch. Lovely pastel shades - mine is pale olive. Reduces external noise as well.
