This room receives direct sunlight and now its almost blocked
Only draw back is that the curtain is plain , would have been better with some designs
I bought these curtains at high price so that my baby could sleep nicely but my purpose is not served.
Update: Bought again after couple of months for another part of the house. Quality and good as the purchases before. I recommend this product and seller.
You can see how my mobile torch light through the curtain. If it’s 100% blackout, this shouldn’t happen.
But what I have noticed is that in the afternoon hours when sunlight is more intense and direct, on the window pane, then some portion of light (approx 10/15 %) was visible from inside. I think the makers will take care of this in the future by putting a bit thicker mid-layer. I could notice that there is a black layer of material sandwiched between the colored layers, as one of the 4 curtains has a small defect where the mid layer of black is visible due to the absence of colored coatings there [ I found it at the very moment I laid the curtain on the hanger]. I ignored this as I didn't want to return the items.
however this will not provide insulation as mentioned in description.
Serves my purpose.
